Strictly (for now) based off the movie! I'm trying to get my grubby little paws on Guardians of Childhood but I haven't been able to get 'em quite yet.

Roleplaying

I. I am Private and Selective. The definition of both terms changes with each person. Private means I will only interact with mutuals and selective meaning I will be picky on who I follow and who I do not, not extremely so but still.

II. No Multi-Muse or Self-Inserts. I'm sorry but I just... find it hard to keep track of which muse someone is using and it just makes me antsy. I have nothing against self-inserts, more power to ya for making self-insert muses! I just don't feel comfortable interacting with self-inserts though, so I'm super sorry about that but I won't be threading with you.

III. OCs are completely fine! I love OCs with a fiery passion, I have so many of them you have no idea! I will be extremely picky with the OCs that I interact with, but I will interact with them nonetheless!

IV. On being Private. Only mutuals are allowed to respond to my threads/open starters, like my starter calls, reblog certain things and send me interaction memes. Sorry about this but I've realized this makes my life a lot easier than if it's a free-for-all. On the other hand, if you are a non-mutual, you are still allowed to send me headcanon asks and reblog my original content but I won't interact with you, I'm sorry!

V. Some NSFW is allowed. Sexual NSFW is not allowed because I am a minor! I don't want anyone to get in legal trouble over RPing. However, gore and violence, things like that are completely fine!

VI. No Godmodding or Metagaming. I'm going to assume that most people know what both of these things are. If you don't, then please don't hesitate to ask! But seriously, this is kind of just basic roleplaying etiquette.

VII. Threads, asks and formatting. Unless you are involved with the thread, do not reblog aforementioned thread! As for formatting, I really don't care how you format, that's your thing yo! Just please cut your posts, that's all I ask. However, for asks, I just ask that if I answer your ask and you would like to continue it, you put your answer in a separate post and just @ me in it, or tag me!

VII. Plotting vs. Starter Calls. I'm not great at making starters out of the blue? So starters made from starter calls will most likely be short and lackluster. I will make plotting calls and mutuals are allowed to like them, in which case I'll bust into your IMs and talk to you about potential threads! I will be selective with these but generally plotting is better for me than just random starter calls.

VIII. This interpretation is my own. I'm a bit canon-divergent, this divergence probably growing as I spend more time on this blog. Please don't bash me about how I play Jack, how I've decided to create his backstory, how he acts, 'n all that stuff. Pretty standard, overall.

Relationships

I. I am multiship. I love shipping, honestly! So I'm multi-ship currently, if you want to be singleship, then just give me a holler!

II. Chemistry is key. I don't like jumping head first into ships, especially with this V in particular, considering everything. So we can either talk about it OOC and decide that way or let the relationship grow and develop through interactions!

III. Exclusivity and mains.I most likely will not do exclusivity because I want to interact with literally everyone. BUT! I'm always up for being mains, so if you wanna be mains, just hit me up my fam. To me, being mains means that I will a) prioritize interaction with your muse over any duplicates of your muse b) make references to your muse sometimes in other threads c) come to you screaming about our muses at 4 in the morning. The last one is more of a joke but also not really (^:

IV. Jack is physically 18+ While in the book it's stated that he's physically 14, the movie never states and my Jack is largely based off of the movie. To me, at least, he looks like a young adult? So that's what I headcanon him as.

V. Every ship has its own verse. Jack isn't going to be cheating on anyone, don't accuse him of doing such. He's not the type.

I. Personals can follow. You're free to follow me if you're a personal blog but I will not follow back! Please do not like or reblog my RP posts, that's all I ask, if you do reblog/like threads, I will ask you to unlike/delete the reblog and if you do not then I will block.

II. Give me time to follow back! I will most likely follow back almost immediately but there will be some cases where I won't because I'm busy for whatever reason, just give me a little bit!

  Main verse that takes place any time after Jack becomes a spirit and usually before the end of the events of the movie. His attitude towards the Big Four is drifting somewhere between neutral and slightly negative. Of course, he still wears that happy facade he's adorned for so long, but underneath that smiling mask is a lot of inner turmoil that he either pushed down or simply refuses to acknowledge.

  This is the human verse prior to Jack's resurrection as a playful winter spirit. The time period is set in the late 1600s and (most of) his happiness is more or less genuine.

Winter Magic: As the Spirit of Winter, Jack commands snow, ice, frost, and later learned he can unleash energy bolts of ice, and he can easily freeze things over/solid with a mere wave of his staff. Originally, Jack channeled his Winter Magic through his staff, mistaking it to be the source of his power, when really it was just a conduit. Jack can conjure ice, snow, and frost from his mere presence, as well as freezing winds, snowballs, snowflakes, etc. Jack can even manifest images from frosted window panes, freeze water by walking on it, and conjure indoor snowfall, and of course, being the spirit of winter, he is not bothered by the cold.

Flight: Jack is able to fly by riding the wind. He flies by floating like a snowflake, and propels himself with wind to fly faster.

Magic of Fun: As the Guardian of Fun, Jack can bewitch others with feelings of fun, joy, and laughter with his snowballs or even his snowflakes. This was first seen when he hit Cupcake with a snowball, quelling her anger, and helping her have fun and become friends with Jamie and the other kids.

Enhanced Speed and Agility: Exactly as it sounds.

Magic Staff: Jack has a magic staff with which he can control the elements of winter. Jack's staff name is Twinetender and came from an a willow that stood on the ancient burial grounds of Mohican Indians. The Mohicans called it Warriors Willow for from its branches came the strongest and most flexible bows, staffs and arrows that their warriors and hunters fashioned. The warrior dead of the tribe were buried among the willows roots and each limb was said to have the spirit of a warrior within its heartwood who could help the person that wielded it, but only if that being were brave and true of heart. Jack's staff was his friend, his comrade, and his protector. It would alert him to danger and focus Jack's power to speak to the wind. Originally, he thought this staff was the source of his power, when really it was just a conduit for him to channel the magic of winter that had really been inside of him, seen when he repaired it through sheer force of will after Pitch snapped it in half.

10 - 20 Years old

• during a particularly harsh winter, Jack's father goes out hunting and doesn't come back (Jack is around 12 at this time)
• since the community is tightly knit, everyone tries to pitch in and help, while Jack's mother appreciates it, she doesn't like the charity and instead tries to pick up random jobs here and there
• she pays more attention to Flee as she's younger and needs more care, although Jack understands he can't help but feel a bit dejected that he's being "ignored"
• makes attempts to help out around the village too, trying to aid his mother but most people don't take him on his offers as they know him as a jokester and don't trust him to do a proper job
• he's still trying to pick up the happy, joking attitude that he's had since birth, but it's starting to wear
• his family is scraping by but they're doing it, which is good enough for them!
• Flee gets sick when Jack is about 16 years old
• he and his mother feel like she's not going to make it to the end of the winter
• Jack can't do much along the lines of physical help but he does try to keep up her spirits while she's sick
• miraculously, Flee survives and for her birthday Jack decides to take her out for a bit of fun
• he buys her some pastries and decides to teach her how to skate
• events occur as shown in the movie, the ice was too thin and as such, starts to crack, Jack saves flee but in turn Jack ends up dying
• The Man in the Moon revives him as Jack Frost, a winter spirit

• at the beginning of his life as a spirit, Jack hadn't a clue as to who he was or what he was, all he knew was what the moon told him (which was incredibly little information)
• he spent a good hundred years trying to get used to being what he was
• phobia starts developing as he realizes that none of the humans can see him, only worsened by the fact that a good majority of the other spirits don't enjoy being around him as his cold isn't accepted by many
• after 100 years pass, he decides to try looking into his past, wondering if that'll help him discover who he is
• natural inclination to have fun causes him to feel like his sadness over being ignored/not believed in is unnatural
• he doesn't like that feeling
• shoves it all down under layers of "fun times" and smiles
• events of the movie occur (mun highly recommends you watch it if you haven't already)
